Monticello

“One man with courage is a majority.” – T. Jefferson

About

This blog is the home for the political writings of Joh Padgett, an activist and writer/blogger/podcaster from Indianapolis, IN. Dedicated to a rare breed of political persuasion these days classified as Jeffersonians, the ideals espoused by Thomas Jefferson serve as the philosophical underpinning for the views expressed on this site.

Jeffersonians are by nature progressive, civil liberty-oriented and mindful of the principles instilled by our Founding Fathers into the greatest living document in history, the Constitution of the United States of America. The greatest quote from Jefferson is one of his most famous. “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” So with that in mind, I present to you, Monticello, the blogging home of people of good conscience who refuse to remain silent.
